Professional tournament open to:
- Professionals Men and Ladies, aged 44 and over
- Amateurs Men and Ladies, 40 years old with Hcp is ≤12
- 5 Wild Cards for Men and Ladies amateurs who do not meet the age criteria
Organisation
- 2 rounds of 18 holes in Stroke Play on « La Mer » course
- Tee times: Round 1 from 10:00 am / Round 2 from 9:00 am
- Group of 2 players (buggies allowed, 1 per ground)
- In case of a tie for the 1st place after 2 rounds, a Sudden Death Play Off will be played from Hole 1 (or the players may share the winnings)
- Trophy presentation at the end of Round 2
- Special Best Amateur Prize (if at least 3 amateurs entered)

The Pro-Am tournament will precede the Pro tournament on Saturday September 10th, with Tee Times from 8:00 am (Hole #1)

Order of Merit
– Bonus
The winner of the Order of Merit for the 2022 season of the Pay & Play Golf Tour will be rewarded with a financial bonus at the end of the season.
– « The Lemurs’ Trail »: Invitation to the Legends Tour tournament, Madagascar Senior Open (November 2022)*
This invitation will reward the highest ranked player in the Order of Merit for the 2022 season of the Pay & Play Golf Tour, not otherwise qualified on the Legends Tour, to participate in the 2022 Madagascar Senior Open*. That player will have reached the age of 50 years on the day of the first round of the tournament. (*) tournament name and dates to be confirmed later
Amateur playing the professional tournament
As of January 1, 2022, the status of amateur players has been changed by R&A, USGA and ffgolf and now allows that an amateur playing in a scratch competition is allowed to accept any prize, including prize money, up to a limit of €850 (£700 / $1,000) in value, per competition, unless the national governing body has set a lower limit [Rule 3a – Scratch Competitions], without loosing its amateur status.
Marc Farry Organisation will allow any player entered as an amateur golfer in professional tournaments on the Pay & Play Golf Tour to accept any prize money that meets the limit in “Rule 3a – Scratch Competitions” (Rules of Amateur Status applicable of as January 2022), without losing his/her amateur status.

Le vainqueur de l’Ordre du Mérite du Pay & Play Golf Tour 2022 sera récompensé par un bonus à l’issue de la saison.
– “La Piste des Lémuriens”: Invitation au tournoi du Legends Tour – Open Senior de Madagascar (novembre 2022)*
Cette invitation récompensera le joueur le mieux classé à l’Ordre du Mérite de la saison 2022 du Pay & Play Golf Tour qui se serait pas déjà qualifié sur le Legends Tour pour participer à l’Open Senior de Madagascar* 2022. Ce joueur devra aussi avoir 50 ans au jour du premier tour du tournoi. (*) nom et dates du tournoi confirmés ultérieurement
Amateur engagé en tournoi professionnel
Depuis le 1er janvier 2022, le statut des joueurs amateurs a été modifié par R&A, USGA et ffgolf et autorise désormais qu’un amateur jouant dans une compétition en brut est autorisé à accepter n’importe quel prix, y compris monétaire, jusqu’à une limite de €850 (£700 / $1000) par compétition, à moins que l’instance dirigeante nationale n’ait fixé une limite inférieure [Règle 3a : Compétitions en brut], sans perdre son statut d’amateur.
Marc Farry Organisation permet ainsi à tout joueur inscrit comme golfeur amateur aux tournois professionnels du Pay & Play Golf Tour d’avoir droit aux prix en espèces qui respectent la limite de la “Règle 3a – Compétitions en Brut” (Règles du Statut d’Amateur Applicables en Janvier 2022), sans perdre son statut d’amateur.

- in the event that you cannot play the tournament,

What are the rules relating to the vaccine pass and COVID certificate?
Since 14 March 2022, the “vaccine pass” has been lifted in France in all areas where it was previously required (cultural and leisure venues, commercial catering, professional trade shows, etc.). The COVID certificate is no longer required as of 1 August 2022.
What are the current rules applied at national borders?
As we enter a new phase of the pandemic, the health check system at borders has been lifted.
Consequently, as of 1 August 2022, the rules previously applied to travellers arriving into France are no longer enforced.
- Travellers no longer have any formalities to complete before arriving into mainland or overseas France, and the COVID certificate can no longer be requested, irrespective of the country or area of origin;
- Proof of a compelling reason for travel can no longer be requested;
- Travellers no longer need to present a sworn declaration that they are not infected with COVID-19 and pledge to take an antigen test or biological exam upon arrival into France.
This also applies to travel between mainland France and each of the overseas territories.
Similarly, the French authorities no longer require proof of a compelling reason for travel or a certificate of international travel from mainland or overseas France to another country.
However, there may be certain specific formalities to be completed in order to travel to foreign countries.
What are the rules concerning mask-wearing in France?
Mask-wearing is no longer mandatory in establishments open to the public, nor on board maritime, river, land and air transport;
Mask-wearing continues to be recommended in enclosed and small spaces, and at large gatherings for vulnerable persons (because of age or health conditions in particular);
Furthermore, it is highly recommended in hospitals and for elderly people.
